Waage Engineering has designed and manufactured a complete range of process heating equipment and systems for over 40 years. We have extensive experience in Electric fired, oil-fired, gas-fired and steam process heating systems. We utilize components manufactured by us and others and design them into standard modular groups, thereby manufacturing a custom system at "standard-off-the-shelf" prices. We have on staff registered professional engineers, and can design solutions to the most demanding requirements. We use Autocad 2000 for design, and Microsoft Project for scheduling. We are well versed in ANSI, ASTM, ASME, NEC, and AISC.

HOT OIL SYSTEMS:

Most common- Generally consisting of skid mounted heaters, pumps, valves, expansion tanks, and controls. These are all combined, piped, wired, and tested before shipping. Installation is also available. Typical uses are in the Chemical, petroleum, plastics and food industries. We are also active in the web-converting industry for heating rolls, and ovens. 200 deg. F - 750 deg.f

HOT WATER SYSTEMS:

Raw or distilled water systems, with or without Glycol Temperature Ranges:
-20 deg. f-100 deg. f (glycol/water)
50 degr. f-300 deg. f (glycol/water or pressurized water)

STEAM SYSTEMS:

Where steam is available, this is type system is generally the least expensive to operate.

CHILLER PACKAGES:

Central and Portable Chilling Systems: Custom designed in modules, factory wired and tested, and include direct expansion chiller vessels having extended heat-transfer surface tubes and removable bonnets. Compressors are available in Hermetic, semi-hermetic, rotary, and scroll.

TEMPERATURE CONTROLS:

Electro-mechanical, electronic indicating and recording, pneumatic modulating, PLC control, and programming.

AIR PROCESS HEATING:

High and low temperature air heating of areas, ovens, conveyor ovens for drying, solder re-flow, etc.

FIELD ENGINEERING AND REPAIR:

24 hr. engineering and repair services. We are experts in most manufacturers' equipment and can repair either on site or in our plant.
